Feeding those thoughts will only restrict your progress and keep you in a mental state of wishful thinking and fantasy. You will only put obstacles in your path to having a good exercise routine. Being hopeless is not a feeling to feed during this pandemic.
The truth of the matter is, you may never look like those models. Those idyllic looks are often beyond reach — even if you have the best and most exclusive fitness program. Those flawless magazine images may have been photo-shopped anyway. So stop dreaming about looking like them. It will only make you miserable if you don’t succeed. You cannot allow more misery to enter your life in addition to the COVID-19 pandemic.

But, good health is within reach. That is the purpose of taking the time to exercise while quarantined at home. Do not base your goal on how picturesque others look. Plan an exercise routine to make you feel good about yourself. Do workouts that you can handle and get your lungs and heart pumping. Exercise is a quarantine therapy and medicine for joy. Gain emotional comfort and lower your stress levels with a good exercise routine.
Make the effort every morning or afternoon (or both) to subject your body to exercise. Start from small beginnings. A brisk walk for 30 minutes a day. Five days a week is the beginner’s guideline and standard practice. Every day is a recommendation during this COVID-19 situation.
