Camping Equipment
You can’t go anywhere without your camping equipment. Out there in the woods, you are on your own. So, you are going to need a few camping accessories for sure. If it’s cold, you must have a cleaver, so you can cut trees to set up a fire. Also, you will need knives if you want to cut fruit and other plants. If you are walking in the woods at night, you will need a battery to light up the road.
Medication and First Aid
Camping trip activities can pose a threat to your health and physical wellbeing. Some people have allergies and others have weak immune systems. You must bring medication on your camping trip. Especially if you are camping with your children. You can find different kinds of bugs and mosquitoes that can bite you and leave a mark on your skin. So it is recommended to bring any kind of spray for mosquitoes. Also, you can take with you your first aid kit, if some cuts, scraps, and wounds need to be bound up.
Camping Gear
It is very important to feel comfortable in the clothes you are wearing, for camping. Make sure you wear the right camping gear and use the right shoes to walk in the woods. There can be a lot of mud. It’s not recommended to wear sneakers. It is never wrong if you take a warm jacket with you because you will never know how the weather is going to be. You can put your clothes and a little blanket in a big rucksack.
Non-Perishable Food
It’s the second to last, but the most important, the thing you must bring on your camping. Canned and packet food that does not need refrigeration may be best for camping outdoors. For food that might spoil, make sure you bring a cooler for your drinks and meat. You can also take barbecue sauce and condiments. You can find different kinds of plants that you can eat. But be careful with the plants you choose and mushrooms because some of them are toxic.
Personal Hygiene Products
When you are planning your trip, besides the food as a priority, you must think about your hygiene. Now, you are probably wondering, how are you going to keep your hygiene in order? But, there are a few solutions for that. You can take a bottle of hand sanitizer, to disinfect your hands, before you eat your meal. Use rubbing alcohol and cotton balls for the non-sensitive parts of your body. A sponge, bowl of water, and biodegradable soap to take a bath one or two times in the day. Purified water, baking soda, or toothpaste for brushing your teeth.
